When soreness, dropped strength, and low readiness stack up, STRIATE calls a deload — about half the sets, a couple more reps in reserve. One tap to start, one tap to undo. You always decide.

Treadmill, rower, sled, farmer's carries, planks: log time and distance instead of reps. Loaded carries count toward hard sets; unloaded cardio never inflates them.
